It's with great sadness that the family of Shawn Marie Maitoza announces her passing on Thursday morning, July 12, 2018 at the young age of 49.

Shawn was born in Fall River and lived in Westport for many years. She was the daughter of Pat Maitoza and the late Gerry Maitoza, and was the sister of Brenda, Scott, Gerry and Jamie Maitoza, all of Fall River. She was the life partner of Jeff Fitzgibbons of Westport for over 27 years. Shawn had cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved. She was educated in the Fall River School System and had worked as an LPN at Habit OPCO. Shawn was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved animals and extended kindness to everyone she met.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
