NEW BEDFORD...Sandra L. Cabral, 42, of New Bedford passed away September 10, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Maria do Ceu (Lopes) Cabral of Fall River and Fernando DaSilva Cabral and his wife Gloria of Freetown. She had lived most of her life in Fall River. Ms. Cabral was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Fall River and enjoyed going to the beach, walking and reading. Along with her parents, survivors include her daughter: Thaysha Gagne of Fall River; her sister: Maria Lourdes Cabral of Fall River; her brother: Fernando Cabral of Auburn, MA; 1 nephew: Anthony Ivy and his wife Ivy Rose; 1 niece: Brianna Dias; 1 great nephew: Benjamin Cabral; 4 great nieces: Alexis, Mia, Zoe & Cori Ivy; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the granddaughter of the late Antonio and Elvira (Fernandes) Lopes and Carlos and Eugenia (DaSilva) Costa, and was aunt of the late Kory Cabral. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 at 8:30 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Bedford St. Fall River., Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
