DARTMOUTH... Ronald P. Marchand, 67, of Dartmouth passed away October 26, 2018 at his home. Born in Fall River but raised in Westport, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Margaret A. (King) Marchand. Mr. Marchand had worked for many years as a Bridge Attendant for the Padanaram Bridge in Dartmouth and as a Mechanic for Steve Phipps at Glenwood Motors in Westport. He loved music, being on the water, traveling, Harley Davidsons, being with friends and family and meeting new people. Survivors include his sister: Deborah Walmsley of Dartmouth; his brother; Kevin Marchand of Florida; nephews & nieces: Paul Hamel, Justin Hamel, Rebecca Evans and Krystina Marchand. He was the father of the late Jeffrey Marchand. Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 5 - 7 PM with a service to follow at 7 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Cremation will follow.
