WESTPORT...Rita L. (Lamarre) Chouinard, 103, of Westport passed away August 18, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Odilon Chouinard. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Aurore (Lizotte) Lamarre and had lived most of her life in Westport. Mrs. Chouinard was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Westport. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and loved animals and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter: Denise J. Farias and her husband David W. of Westport; her son: Paul D. Chouinard and his wife Pamela M. of North Attleboro; 6 grandchildren: Dawn, Justin, Jennifer, Katelyn, Matthew, and Marisa; 4 great grandchildren: Deacon, Lucas, Rylan, and Wyatt; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edith Thibault, Jeannette Ritz, Alfred Lamarre, Albert Lamarre and Roland Lamarre. Funeral will be private at the request of the family.
