Paula M. "Pavi" (Garcia) Vidro, 77, of Fall River, MA, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. She was the widow of Pedro Israel Vidro Zayas. Mrs. Vidro was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico a daughter of the late Santos Garcia and Margarita Rodriguez and had lived in Fall River for many years. Paula enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and going to church functions with her sister Margarita.. She had a heart of gold and always helped others in need. She was loved by many. Survivors include a son Raphael Torres Garcia of Roxbury, 2 daughters: Yvette Torres Gracia of Roxbury, Luz Garcia of Fall River, a brother Santos Garcia of Las Pierdras, Puerto Rico, 2 sisters: Gloria Garcia of Carolina, Puerto Rico, Margarita Garcia of New High Park, NY, 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jose Antonio Colom Garcia. Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River. Calling hour will be Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
