SOMERSET... Omer J. Dube, 80, of Somerset passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Kimwell Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fall River. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Emile J. and Maryann (Durette) Dube and had been a lifelong resident of this city. He was the husband of Marlene E. (Mellor) Dube of Somerset. Mr. Dube was proud to be an American. He was a communicant of St. Bernadette's Parish and enjoyed bowling. Along with his wife, Omer is survived by 2 daughters: Cynthia Pelletier of Fall River & Cheryl Dube of Swansea, a son: Scott J. Dube of Fall River, a brother: Paul Dube of CT, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Theresa Levault, Cecile, Emile, Joseph & Alphonse Dube. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Bernadette's Parish, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9 - 10:30 AM prior to the funeral.
