FALL RIVER... Miguel A. Orta Pacheco, 77, of Fall River passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Miguel Orta and Herminia Pacheco and had lived in Fall River for the past 7 years. Mr. Orta Pacheco enjoyed playing Dominos. Survivors include his daughters: Wanda Orta of Puerto Rico, Joyce Orta of New York, Angelina Orta of Fall River, Joselyn Torres of Fall River & Ann Lee Irrizary of Puerto Rico; his sons: Luis Orta of New York, Miguel Orta of Puerto Rico & Angel Orta of Fall River; his sisters: Miriam Sanchez of Puerto Rico, Agripina Orta of Texas, &Olga Orta of New York; his brothers: Jose Orta of Puerto Rico, Alfredo Orta of New York, Francisco Orta of Puerto Rico & Oscar Orta of Puerto Rico; 15 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Noel Sanchez, Lucy Orta and Hilda Orta. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 12 Noon at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 10 AM - 12 Noon, prior to the service.
