FALL RIVER... Mary Joan Macedo, 79, of Fall River passed away September 12, 2018. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Rogers) Macedo and had been a lifelong resident of this city. She was employed as a Buck Presser and had worked for over 30 years for Shelbourne Shirt before retiring. Mary enjoyed shopping, yard sales, Bingo, working on engines and volunteering with the Soup Kitchen.

Survivors include a brother: Richard Macedo of Florida, a sister Barbara A. Pacheco of Somerset, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jean Almeida.

Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday September 18 at 11:00 AM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial will be Private.
