FALL RIVER ...Manuel Pereira, 87, of Fall River died, on Thursday June 24, 2010. He was the widow of the late Theresa (Monteiro) Pereira. He was born in Fall River the son of the late Mariano and the late Maria Santos (Viera) Pereira and had been a life long resident of this city. Mr. Pereira served in the United States Army, and was an avid New York Yankee's fan and enjoyed watching W.W.E. Wrestling. Survivors include a son: Manuel Pereira Jr, 4 daughters: Brenda Pereira, Dorothy Ferreira both of Fall River, Donna Pereira of MI, Sandra Fusaro of Taunton, 3 brothers: Jesse, Edward, Joseph Pereira, 14 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren 4 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Pereira.
