Wareham... Madeleine E. (Desrosier) Gardner, 71, of Westport passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham. She was wife of the late Donald Joseph. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Eva Desrosier & Leo Desrosier and was step daughter of the late Rose Anna Desrosier. Mrs. Gardner enjoyed ceramics, western movies and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was owner and hairdresser of the former His Majesty's in Westport and had worked at several other salons in the Fall River area. Survivors include 4 daughters; Barbara Gardner of South Carolina, Michelle Rogers of Middleboro, Linda Lobiondo of Gainesville, FL & Catherine Chouinard of Fall River, a son; David Gardner of Provincetown, MA, a brother; Leo Desrosier, Jr. of Beverly Hills, FL, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren., several nieces and a nephew. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 PM.
