FALL RIVER ... Lucy (Alves) Silvia, 90, of Fall River died Wednesday, September 5, 2013 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the widow of George Silvia. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Arruda) Alves and had lived most of her life in Fall River also having lived Newark and Kearny, NJ area for 32 years. She was employed as a cleaner at Giants Stadium for many years. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Aldina Levesque, Hilda Coderre, James, Arthur, Alfred, Jordan, and Raymond Alves. Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 12:30 P.M. at Arlington Cemetery, 748 Schuyler Ave., Kearny, NJ.
