FALL RIVER... Lena (Mello) Ksen, 101, of Fall River passed away, Wednesday, August 12, 2021 at Kimwell Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the loving wife of the late Tadeusz "Teddy" Ksen. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Flora (Souza) Mello and had been a lifelong resident of this city. Mrs. Ksen was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church. She enjoyed day trips to casinos, watching television shows and word search puzzles., but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her children: Gerald Mello & wife Colette of Fall River, Alice Alves & husband Joseph of Fall River and Karen Grimshaw & late husband Alan of Troy, NH; her sister: Gloria Pacheco of Fall River; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Tadeusz Ksen, Jr. and William Ksen, grandmother of the late Lori Turner and William Ksen, Jr. and sister of the late John Mello, Deliah Wineland and Lucy Mello. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 8:30 AM from South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River.
