Kris-Anne Ferreira Obituary (2023)

TIVERTON... Kris-Anne Ferreira, 57, of Tiverton passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 4, 2023. Born in Fall River, she was the devoted daughter of the late Daniel A. Jr. and late Beryl E. "Bunny" (Ford) Ferreira. She attended Westport High School and graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising. She was employed since 2006 by Stop & Shop (Ahold Delhaize) and was a Logistics Specialist. Her strong work ethic and dedication to her job were paramount to the core of what was important to her. Kris was an avid animal lover and often seen with her German Shepard, Elliott. She was a skilled equestrian who successfully competed in the hunter/jumper division. She joked that she enjoyed the company of animals over people. Her ever-present sense of humor and quick wit was part of her charm. Her colorful verbiage of any situation was unlike anyone else. Kris was a unique force and her light shined for all those who knew her. She is survived by her lifelong friend Beth Westcott and her partner Donna MacLean, her Uncle Paul Ford and his wife Tracy of Swansea; her Brothers Paul Spooner and his fiance Lisa Carvalho of Fall River, Daniel A. Ferreira, III and his wife Jeanne of Fall River, and Joe Sebastiao and his girlfriend Tara Duclos of Acushnet; her Aunt Laurie Britto of Maine; her Uncle Robert Ford of Arizona and along with many other relatives and friends. Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 7 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 - 7 PM, prior to the service. Burial will take place Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 10 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, 765 Prospect Street Fall River, MA 02720. Those wishing to attend are asked to join directly at the cemetery.
