Kathleen O. (Bosworth) Vera Obituary (2022)

TAUNTON... Kathleen O. Vera died on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Morton Hospital after a period of declining health. Kathy was born on March 14, 1949 to the late Harold S. Bosworth and Jean (Howard) Bosworth. Kathy grew up in Dartmouth and attended Dartmouth schools. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at many hospitals and nursing homes in the New Bedford area. In 1987, Kathy moved to Florida and later to Colorado to be close to her grandchildren. Kathy loved knitting, crocheting and all crafts. Kathy leaves her husband, Kenneth Vera; two sons, Ted H. Vera (Katie) of Colorado and Isaac Vera of Lakeville, MA; two grandchildren, Matthew Vera (Amber) of San Diego, CA and Jeanne Vera Brown (Korbin) of Colorado; sisters, Victoria Graham, Joanne Andrade and Suzanna Trimble (Bill) all of Dartmouth, MA; brothers, William H. Bosworth (Louise) of Daytona Beach, FL and Edward C. Bosworth (Jane) of Westport, MA. Kathy also leaves her great-granddaughter, Willow Mae Brown of Colorado, as well as many nieces and nephews who affectionately knew her as Auntie Cookie. She is predeceased by her former husband E. Howard Vera and Will Keyser. Arrangements will be private.
