FALL RIVER... Joseph P. Rutkowski, 75, of Fall River passed away April 3, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Helen (Petres) Rutkowski of Fall River and the late Frank J. Rutkowski. He had been a lifelong resident of this city. Mr. Rutkowski enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of all New England sports teams. Along with his mother, he is survived by 2 daughters: Doris Liebgott of Fall River & Theresa Macioce of Fall River, a son, Joel L. Rutkowski of Fall River, 2 sisters: Donna Medeiros and Darlene Chouinard both of Fall River, 6 grandchildren: Michael K. Liebgott, Joseph Rutkowski, Thomas LePre, Demetri Macioce, Mitchell Macioce & James Rutkowski, 2 great grandchildren: Aiden & Nathan, several nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Joseph L & Joseph L. Rutkowski and brother of the late Diane Silvester, Frank J. Rutkowski, Jr. & Andrew J. Rutkowski. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 8 AM from the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Bernadette's Parish, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 - 8 PM.
