Jane (Bernat) Nowacki Obituary (2020)

FALL RIVER... Jane (Bernat) Nowacki, 93 of Fall River passed away December 2, 2020 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Frank J. Nowacki to whom she had been married for 67 years, prior to his passing. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Victoria (Swiez) Bernat and had been a lifelong resident of this city. Mrs. Nowacki had worked for many years as a Sewing Machine Operator at various textile plants throughout Fall River prior to her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and jigsaw puzzles, but above anything else, she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter: Sharon Oliveira and her husband Dennis of Assonet; two grandchildren: Rachael Hare and Nathan Oliveira; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stasia Koscielny, Joseph and Chester Bernat. At her request, services will be private.
